Retiring as a Seattle Police officer, Don Churched continued to work as a realestate agent in Spokane until passing in 2018. He will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and classmates not only because of his basketball skills, but sense of humor and personability.

Don was a friend and hero to me. He started working with the Seattle Police Department right after graduating from BHS and became their spokesman, so always great to hear him discuss events on the radio or TV. He retired from the Seattle Police Department about the time I started a serious teaching career, which always amazed me. I loved running into him at Seattle events and will always have a warm feeling for our times together at BHS and thereafter. I am a good friend of his twin Ron and we stay in touch. He seems to be doing ok, but certainly a big loss for him. Love to all, Dale
Maxine Boone (Gries)
I did not Don very well but I watched him and his brother throughout the years playing basketball. His twin brother taught my children at Bothell High School. I wish his family the best in their time of grief. May God Bless them !
