Lanny Kipp, passed away in Vancouver, Washington on August 7, 2021 at age 74. Lanny joined the All West Family as a Sales Representative in Southwest Washington in 1984 and retired in December 2014. He was known for his vast knowledge, contagious smile, and genuine care in the lives of his coworkers and customers while working as an All West/Select Sires Oregon Sales Representative.

Lanny and family moved from Montana to the Bothell area where Lanny joined BHS in 64 and 65. Being "the new kid on the block," Lanny was slightly shy and graduated from BHS with a small group of close friends. I became acquainted with Lanny and his two older brothers as a lifeguard and co-worker at Gold Creek Park in 64 and 65. I last saw Lanny in the fall of 2016 when we attended the Memorial of our "boss" Chuck Lee. Lanny was a great person, kind, humble, hardworking, with a gentle personality and a warm smile. I could not find Lanny's photo in our 65 yearbook, but think Lanny was in the 64 yearbook next to Lyle Kirton. If I am correct, he was miss-named as Gary Kitts. Lanny and his wife Sandy had 3 children. Lanny Ray '74, and twin daughters, Jamie and Amy '78, and most likely have some grandchildren. Lanny will be missed and fondly remembered.
