Brian's brother, Kent, age 61 Died on Dec. 13, 2017 of complications with diabetes.  Brian died one week later, on Dec. 20, 2017.

Brian Harvey McIlrath of Snohomish, WA passed away on December 20, 2017. Raised in Bothell, WA along with his siblings, Scott, Cathlin, Laurel, Alan, Paul and Kent by parents Gurina and Harvey. Brian graduated from Bothell High School and joined the US Marine Corps. in 1963 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Brian's careers span over 30 years working for Lockheed Ship Building and Boeing. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Brian was predeceased by his parents and youngest brother, Kent. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lin; son, Brett (AnnMarie); daughters, Kimberly (Anthony), Lauren (Scott), Stacy (Thane), Paige (Dan); and his grandchildren, Emily, Clark, Chloe, Alice, Julia, Fisher, Lowden, Cole, Curtis, Lachlan, who gave him so much joy. Brian's legacy will live on through his family. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 12 noon at Floral Hills in Lynnwood, WA, with a memorial/reception at 3:00 p.m. at The Bothell Lutheran Church, Bothell, WA.
