Dave died of Alzheimer's. The disease was one of the rapid forms. Dave was ill for about 2 years maximum.

David passed away in June, 2011. He died of Pick's Disease, a random form of dementia. It was fast developing
with no cure. He was cheerful to the end. He loved to fly fish and was an expert fly-tyer, well known in the Rogue
Valley. A successful environmental lawyer in Medford, Oregon, he left a wife, daughter and two grandchildren, who loved him.
Gone but not forgotten.
