In Memory

Andrea Casper

Andrea Casper

Andrea returned peacefully to her heavenly home early Sunday morning August 22, 2004. After years of physical pain and hardships she was released from her diseased mortal body. She endured many afflictions and had become disabled as a result of advance progressive multiple sclerosis. While her loved ones greatly mourn her passing they are comforted in knowing that she has been set free from her pain and increasing levels of disability.

Andrea was born March 6, 1979 in Bountiful, Utah to Brian and Susan Casper. She has two older brothers, Craig and Jeff, who she has always loved most dearly. As an only daughter, she was truly her mother's pride and joy. As a young girl she had the sweetest disposition that one can imagine. She was always told that she was special and that she was loved and yes she is!

Andrea attended school in Bountiful and participated in many community, church and school activities. She graduated from Bountiful High School in 1997 and later trained and received a diploma as a certified medical assistant. Prior to her illness she loved to quilt, read, cook and travel and she enjoyed many vacations with her family. She became a highly skilled quilter and contributed her work to the Deseret Foundation Quilt auctions. She baked and gave away hundreds of her "famous" chocolate chip cookies. She had great compassion for others and always was forgiving.

In October of 2001 she married Ammon King from Greenville, South Carolina. Ammon has been a loving and devoted caregiver and stayed by her side through her most difficult times.

Andrea is survived by her husband, Ammon; her parents, Brian and Susan Casper; her brothers, Craig (Quentin Webb) and Jeff (Amie); nephews, Carter and Jamie; grandparents, Orson and Ardell Casper and William B. and Joyce York. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Norma A. York.

Andrea is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Lakeview LDS Ward Chapel, 455 South1200 East, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the chapel. Interment will take place at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
