Craig Zesiger


Our beloved son, brother and friend, Craig Bryson Zesiger, 18, passed away on June 28, 1997, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Craig was born on January 25, 1979, in Bountiful, Utah, to Don Fred and Dorothy Bryson Zesiger. Craig graduated form Bountiful High School on May 30, 1997, to a standing ovation for his courage and determination.He accomplished many goals during the past 21 months. He was an outstanding wrestler, lettering for Bountiful High School. When he was no longer able to wrestle himself, he helped and enouraged other wrestlers. He was involved in high school rodeo and loved the challenge of riding bulls. Craig enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and riding four wheelers with his friends and family.

Above all he was a friend to everyone and was known for his great sense of humor. His positive attitude and courage made him a hero in everyone's eyes. His example will live on forever.

Craig is survived by his parents, Don and Dorothy; brother, Calvin (Cristy), NSL, Mark (Monica), Layton, Darrin (Alisha), West Bountiful, DeeLynn, West Bountiful; sister, Donna (Scott) Woolstenhulme, Logan; grandparents, Glenn and Ellen Bryson, Bountiful, Margorie Zesiger, Bountiful; nieces and nephews, Cody, Camille and Cameron Zesiger, special friend, Heidi Leary.

Preceded in death by grandfather, Fred H. Zesiger.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all those who have cared for and supported Craig through the past 21 months. Those at Lakeview Hospital, U of U Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and extend a special love and appreciation to Dr. Regina Klien, Kristen Smith and Marylynn Johnson.
