Sherry A. Bartlow, 65, of Augusta, IL died at 2:22 am Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. 

She was born on September 22, 1952, in Quincy, IL to Gerhard R. and Irene Howk Leenerts. She married Kay Bartlow on March 19, 1974, in Quincy, Ill. He survives.

Sherry was a graduate of Bowen High School and attended the Gem City Beauty School in Quincy, IL. she owned and operated the Hair Affair Beauty Salon in Augusta and assisted her husband Kay on the family farm. She enjoyed gardening, golfing and was an avid harness horse racing fan.

She is survived by a son, Brandon Bartlow of Augusta, IL, a stepson, Shawn Bartlow of West Palm Beach, FL; a step-granddaughter, Kelsey Bartlow, St. Charles, IL.; a sister Betty Leenerts of Beardstown, IL, a brother Bob (Harriett) Leenerts of Rockaway Beach, MO, a sister-in-law Carol (Jim) Kerker of Augusta, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2018, at the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Bowen, IL, with the Rev. Sherri Renner officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Bowen. Memorials may be made to the Living Faith United Methodist Church or the Huntsville Cemetery.
