Richmond Hill- Richard E. Poole, age 56, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Richard was born in Washington, D.C. He spent his early life in Bowie, MD. He has lived in Richmond Hill since 2004. Richard was a groundskeeper for Plantation Apartments in Richmond Hill.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving from 1979 to 1983. Richard loved playing guitar and was an avid movie watcher. He could make anyone laugh and he truly did love “Jesus”!
Richard is survived by his wife, Dawn Poole of Richmond Hill; his children, Amber Poole, Aaron Poole, Phillip Poole, and Amanda Poole all of California; his step-children, Eric (Kelly) Lopez of Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA, Kristin (Ben) Rosenfeld of Shelton, CT, Jack Perez of Atlanta, and Jimmy (Cynthia) Perez of Richmond Hill; a sister, Sharon Poole of New York; grandchildren, Mason, Lucy, Caroline, Quinn, Caydence, and Christian; mother-in-law, Kathleen Harger of Bristol, CT; friends, Kathy Howard, Tommie Johnson, Tawana Johnson, and Destinie Johnson; and his pet dog, Luke.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Coastal Community Christian Church in Richmond Hill.
