I always enjoyed being around Bill. He was a good friend and I was shocked when I heard he had passed away with, I think, his wife. All because of a drunk driver hitting them. What a waste of a good man. I remember Bill in the Civil Air Patrol as well. Good memories.
I remember Bill as a St. Louis Cardinals football fan who came to my house a couple of times to play backyard football. He was a very nice guy and will be missed.
