Alex Caro died on a dark rainy night on a two lane country road. His only mission that night was to get home from school. Unfortuately, someone not paying attention crossed the center lane ending Alex's life. His death changed the course of many close to him. I will never forget this tragic loss. My children know this story - they cannot drive on winding Vienna and Great Falls roads at night and they understand why. Alex you are missed and loved by many.

He was such a positive influence to a happy life---though his was short. I think of Alex often and keep smiling know that's what he'd do.

p.s. my grandmother knew the kid that hit Alex. They did not do well after that accident either. An inexperience driver on a wet, rainy night. They hydro planed accross the line and hit Alex. God Bless them both.
