Jonathon always had a locker right next to mine (funny how the alphabet works)and he was the only one that could ever get mine open. When I ended up with the "top" locker he would always switch with me so I could actually see into mine. He always had a smile on his face and was genuinely a nice person. I had no idea he was gone but he will definately be missed.
I'm sorry I did not get to know you until our senior year, I enjoyed the classes that we shared, especially Vietnam (you made it fun to go to class). I'm sorry you were taken so soon.
My brother Jonathan Dwyer passed away on Feb 22, 2002. He died helping a woman in domestic violence. He was shot and killed at his home in Clarksville TN. He was a father of two children ages 9 and 7 at the time. He was a member of the National Guards, a nurse at Nashville Hospital.
Those of you know my brother Jonathan you would remember that he was a man that saw the good in people. You would remember his dimples. He is truly missed and loved. Submitted by JoAnn Dwyer (Fletcher) (class of 1992)
I had known Jon most of my life on an off and on basis and I adored the man. We had just recently found each other again before he was snatched away from his loved ones. He always made me feel like a real person who mattered and always had a kind word to say. I guess the thing I recall the most is the way my heart rolled over when he would smile at me even though I was grinding the gears and killing the car :c) I love and miss you Jon. May God bless your family.
