Robert W. Tenney

Robert W. Tenney, 68, of East Falmouth went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Robert was the loving husband of Yvette ((Roderick) Tenney. Born in Weymouth on November 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Evelyn (Nevins) Tenney. He graduated from Braintree High School and served with the US Army.

Robert was a butcher with Stop & Shop Company for 46 years before his retirement.

Survived by his children; Leanne Gray and her husband Gary of Mashpee and Robert M. Tenney and his wife Gislaine of Mashpee; two brothers, Gary Tenney and Fred Tenney both of Sandwich, a sister Sandra Ryan of Ft. Myers, FL; three grandchildren: Joshua Gray, Raegan Gray and Natalie Tenney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was born on November 11, 1947 and passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Robert was a resident of East Falmouth, Massachusetts at the time of his passing. He graduated from Braintree High School. He served with the US Army. Funeral Service will be held at the Chapman Cole Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. Route 151 Mashpee on Friday March 11 at 9:30 AM. Rev. Benjamin Feldott pastor Cape Cod Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne.
