Janice Pettingell (Graham)


Janice L. Graham, 76, of Beverly, passed away at Beverly Hospital on Monday, April 17. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Gladys (McKinnon) Pettingell.

She was a graduate of Braintree High School and worked for many years for Bank of America until she retired due to disability. She enjoyed playing card games, especially solitaire and was an avid movie watcher. Her children and grand children meant the world to her.

Janice is survived by her son, Robert Graham and his wife Yvonne of Rumford, RI; two brothers, Ralph Pettingell and his wife Sandy of Billerica and Robert Pettingell and his wife Ruth of Braintree; sister, Janet DeAngelis and her husband Emmett of Plymouth and grandchildren, James Gilboy, Ryan Gilboy, Devin Graham and his wife Chantel, and Kayleigh Graham. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Lynn Gilboy and sister, Judy Pettingell .

Sorry to hear of Janice's passing! Although I have not seen her since high school I do remember what a nice person she was..... another classmate that has left us too soon!

I remember Janice , and her sister Janet, from way back in kindergarten at Donald E Ross school. We were classmates all the way from then until graduating from BHS. Janice was a sweet gal, with a smile on her face for everyone. Rest In Peace, classmate. My heart goes out to your family.
