Malcolm McInnes

Malcolm F. McInnes, of 190 Peach St., died unexpectedly in late August, 1965 at Camp Wampanoag, Buzzards Bay, where he was spending his second summer as a counselor.  The Barnstable county associate medical examiner said death was due to natural causes.

Malcolm was born in West Roxbury and had lived in Braintree for 16 years.  A 1965 honor graduate of Braintree High School, he had been a member of the school's debate team, the Junior Classical League, the National Honor Society and the school band.  His had been the first name inscribed on the best speaker's plaque of the school's U.N. Forum.  He was a former acolyte at the Church of St. Clare and a member of the CYO there.

He was to have entered Colgate University, Hamilton, NY, next month.  The University had awarded him a $4000 scholarship.  

He is survived by his parents, Donald H. and Elizabeth (Bates) McInnes; a brother, Donald B. McInnes of Quincy; and a sister, Miss Deborah J. McInnes, of the same address.
