Comments:

I have had a wonderful life but, must say [without a doubt] my proudest accomplishment--has been raising my family. I have traveled and lived around the world . We lived in various states--as my deceased husband was an officer in the U.S.Army: Maryland, Pennsylvania, Alabama, South Dakota, Alaska]
When I was widowed in 1987--I used my husband's GI Bill to complete my college education including Grad school at the University of South Dakota and at Alaska Pacific University.
I Volunteer at the Caring Collection--where we make stained glass angels and window ornaments to sell with the proceeds going to Johns Hopkins and Annapolis Hospital for equipment for cancer research
I live a simple life--still working for the FDA. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family--friends, children, grandchildren. We love family dinners, going to plays, concerts--or, just hanging out together sharing our lives together.

Travel:

My family, friends and I have traveled extensively around the United States--Hawaii, Alaska, California, Wyoming, South Dakota, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North & South Carolina, Virginia & West Virginia--as well as the Far East: China, Hong Kong, Japan,Taiwan; Europe: England, Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France. I loved traveling and getting to meet people from all over the world--wonderful experience to experience different cultures...esp. on a river boat cruise on the Rhine...Christmas Market Cruise--one of the side trips was to visit a real German home--with 8 other fellow travelers around the world--the experience & conversation was amazing...our hostess [a lovely German woman] was enchanting & kept the conversation lively & entertaining as we discussed the other guests lives & cultures.

School Story:

I remember fondly my classmates and the innocent fun we had together--dancing at teen club, various school dances & sports events, parties & fun we had just being together. I loved being a cheerleader & traveling with the sports teams to various games on the bus & the fun we had. To me--it was like the old TV show 'Happy Days'---innocent fun we had in school. I loved high school...and fondly remember my classmates.
