What a great 25th Reunion weekend in Brazil! Let me take a moment to say a huge Thank You to everyone involved in the planning, coordinating, and decorating for the Main Event Saturday evening. I thought it was wonderful to have so many classmates attend the reunion 25 years after graduating. That speaks volumes about how special our class truly is! There are many more Thank You’s that need to be extended. I don’t want to offend anyone by forgetting anyone, so let me just say if you were involved in any of the weekend festivities – Thank You so much. I would single out Cozette for opening up her home to us. That’s pretty big to invite that many people and cook for everyone! Thanks Cozette!
I believe I heard Brenda say we had 56 classmates for the Class photo at the Reunion. I haven’t checked with Brenda but if anyone still wants to order a photo I would suggest either e-mailing Brenda or calling her. I imagine everyone who wanted one pretty much took care of the order Saturday but if not I’m sure Brenda would let you know what steps need to be taken to get a photo.
Another reunion has come and gone. This one was more special being 25 years. The City of Brazil was as I remembered it and I cannot tell you how special it was to rekindle friendships and spend time with everyone. That experience we all shared growing up in Brazil and attending high school together has led us to be the people we are today and I am very proud to tell people when they ask where I went to high school. And every time I respond “Brazil High School, Class of 83” I always think about all of you and those experiences we had together and it brings a smile to my face. Let’s do this again in 5 years!
