Vic Anderson

April 23, 1956 ~ October 2, 2018

Vic Harold Anderson passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side, after a short battle with Leukemia. Vic was born April 23, 1956, in Brigham City, Utah, to Harold E. and Janice I. Supan Anderson.

He graduated from Box Elder High; he received his Bachelor of Arts at Weber State College and his Master's in Education at Utah State University.

Vic married Catherine Joan Eskelsen on June 9, 1978, in the Ogden Temple. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served faithfully at home and in Japan. He cared deeply and was always concerned about "The Forgotten."

He taught resource students for four different school districts and coached basketball, baseball and refereed football. "He Will Be Missed By Many."

Vic enjoyed camping and boating at Lake Powell with his family and friends, snowmobiling, playing in the dirt and sand, reading, and motorcycle vacations.

Vic is survived by his wife of 40 years, Catherine; father, Harold; children: Emily (Jacob) Fry, Sarah (Oaks) Okelberry, and Kyle Anderson; four granddaughters: RikiVee, LuCee Von Boston, Lily Catherine and Pennie Leigh; and his brother, Kent C. Anderson. He was preceded in death by his mother; his brother, Von; and mother-in-law, Virginia Eskelsen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the Lorin Farr 5th Ward, 1570 E. 1300 S. A viewing will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., from 6 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.
