I will never forget at our graduation when Junior hugged the principal with a big bear hug! I went on to VHCC with him and had several classes with him. He was a very sweet guy.

I had no idea he had passed. I always remember just how funny he was all the time. Rest in peace dear friend!

I will never forget how much he made everyone laugh in Mr. Mashburn's class on a daily basis. Mashburn would get so upset because he couldn't control the class, that he would literally start crying; tears would be streaming down his face and he would be saying "I...I just don't know what I am going to do with this class" (sniffle sniffle) LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I don't know if everyone knew that Junior had lost all that weight and was really thin. He looked like a totally different person. I had not seen him in years but I went to the funeral home when he passed and could not believe the pictures of him that were on display.

I didn't go to the funeral, but I did know he had lost weight. I noticed it in his picture in his obituary. It was a beautiful picture of him. I carry his obituary in my Bible to remind me of how good hearted he was. His laughter is missed on this earth!

Junior was always one to make you laugh and smile. He always had a smile on his face. I saw him sometime in 2000 at a hair salon. I did not recognize him at all with all the weight he had lost. His mannerisms were familiar to me when I saw him across the room, but it took me awhile to place my finger on who he was. I was sitting under the dryer with a head full of bleach on so he didn't recognize me either until I got up and went "JUNIOR!". He was still smiling and laughing. I know the loss of losing someone to cancer, I lost my husband Michael Lee Miller to cancer Jan 08. It is sad that the ones we love are gone, but they are at peace now and in a better place. We will see them again one day.

Oh Dina, I am so sorry about your late husband. You must be a very strong person to have such a positive attitude about this. You are greatly admired by me. May God bless you and your sons. I wish I had myspace, but in good 'ole Mendota we only have dial up. Those kinds of internet niceties are impossible for me to use. Please contact me if you ever need to talk. I will always listen.

Junior was so funny and I remember his crazy antics at the last reunion and I got a picture of him dancing with with Doyle Welch (or Joel, I could never remember which one was which) that I will post on the photo bucket.

I loved Junior. He was so much fun to be around you could never frown around him.I think he took it as a personal challenge to erase your frown.I loved it at graduation when he hugged the principal. His sister Becky was one of my best friends.Becky is living in town now and she spoke of how much she misses him and the things her son missed out on by not knowing Juinor. He is missed.
