There are so many things I could say about Fred. He and I were best friends. We lived only a block away and had common bond because we both are korean. Sometimes you loose track of people from behind and think about them and wonder where they are at and if you will ever see them again. I was told about Fred's death here in california in 2006. It was one of those days I will always remember. A mutual friend I had run into at the mall told me about he had drowned in a fishing accident. I would have loved to gone back to BA and visit him and his family. I remember our Freshman year in high school, his father passed away right around Christmas and that hit his family very hard. I remember him telling about teachers asking about what people got for Christmas and they got to him, it was really sad. I know he dropped out of High School in our senior year, but he was a very smart guy. I know high school didn't treat him well, but I know he was enjoying life after high school. He had joined the Air Force and then became an Accountant out here in cali. Fred you are missed and look forward to seeing you on the side of this life. Once I get back to BA I will track down his family and find out what happened.

Kim, were you ever able to find out about Fred? Had he been sick? I remember him being a very sweet guy.
