James Jeffrey Choate, 39, passed away Friday, December 11, 2009 at his home in Broken Arrow, OK. Born January 8, 1970 in Tulsa, OK to James Terrence Choate and Kathleen Ann Drake. Following graduation from high school he married his high school sweetheart and they enjoyed many activities such as cave exploring and rock collecting. Jeff had a passion for stone cutting and jewelry design. Jeff is preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather, “Pappy” and his brother, Michael. Jeff is survived by: his wife of almost 20 years and the love of his life, Pollyanne; his precious daughter and best friend, Lauren Elizabeth; father, Terry and wife, Dianne; and mother, Kathy Drake. Also, 2 sisters, Olivia Waid and husband, Steve of Oklahoma City and Rachel Murphy and husband, Denzil of Denver; brothers, Jonathan Choate of Oklahoma City, and Dillon Redding of Tulsa. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow.
