I Just watched the video of the walk out! I dont even remember that! When was it? what was it about? and i cant believe how crazy my hair looked!!!! what was i thinking???????
That walkout video is classic! I think it was Fall 1989? Oh my God, what did people think of that scruffy looking mob walking down the street. I think that if I saw that gang walking through my neighborhood now, I would lock my doors and hide.....just kidding...we weren't really that bad!
Hey Tracy, the walkout was because the teachers were unhappy with their pay. They were almost going to strike, so we all seized the moment, and decided to walk out on their behalf. For me, I looked at it like a day off lol. I think we did it 3 times actually.
I almost fell off my chair the first time I saw it, I saw myself in the car, and was filled with flashbacks lol.
I remember the walk out...I went with the crowd because we were walking right past my road and I figured I would just go home, well little did I know my mom was coming home for lunch that day and caught me, oh, my god, she was so pissed, she got out of the car and was yelling at me to go back to school infront of all my friends...so embarrassing!!!!!
Does anyone remember Jason Kaufman? I have been looking to see if he was supposed to be in our graduating class but I haven't seen anything yet? I think he dropped out in 10th or 11th grade.
