Welcome to the official website for the Brookwood High School Class of 1955. The purpose of the website is to help us stay reconnected after all these years.This website is owned by Jean Buck Garrett and the content is being created for our class.   Use of the website is absolutely free to members of the BHS Class of 1955.. 

Your information on this website, including your email address, is not made available to anyone outside our class.  Only registered classmates who are logged in have access to most of the contents of the site.

Classmates can join this website by clicking on the "Panther Profiles" link at the top of this page, find your name and click on it. Answer a series of questions and save your answers. Questions you answer will appear in your profile; those you don't answer will not.

All of the links are password protected except Home Page and Contact Me so that the content is only viewable by those members who are registered and logged in. This protects the privacy of each classmate and prevents search engines from collecting your personal information. So please  complete your profile and join to see all the information - always absolutely free to you without any obligation, ever. 

As you register, you'll create a password. If you forget this password, you'll be able to reset the password from the link on the Home Page. 

Once you are logged in, you'll be able to view all of the content.

Isn't Technology Wonderful?

 Our grandchildren carry cell phones, iPods, Blackberries and laptop computers everywhere which allows them to communicate in a way we never dreamed possible. The postman of yesteryear would have taken a weeks time to deliver the "instant message" of today. This website is a documentation of a time that is no more.

 How to sign up: 

1. Click on "Panther Profiles" in the black bar at the top of this page. 

2. Find your name on the list and click on it.

3. Click on the link in the middle that says, "If you are (your name), click here now to create your profile! "  and complete your profile and account setup.  Be sure to enter your address, phone number and e-mail address.  You must complete your profile and create a password to view the password protected website pages.

4. Important Note:  You should check the "Profile Visibility" box so that only other registered BHS Classmates can see your information. 

If you click "Remember Me" when you log in, you will not need to log in the next time you visit the site. If you need to log in and have forgotten your password click "Forgot Password?" and your password will be sent to your e-mail address. You can log onto the site from any computer but must enter your password.

If you change your e-mail address, snail mail address or phone number be sure to update your profile. When you visit the site always check the "Home Page" and the "News and Updates" links for current information. You can also leave a message in the "Message Forum" for any classmate.

The Message Forum is intended for reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, sharing your memories, stories and the latest updates in your lives. Please use discretion when posting messages. Personal attacks, political and religious messages, as well as abusive and anonymous posts will be removed. If you abuse this privilege you will be denied future access to this site. Period.

I hope you enjoy the site and will visit it often. Our class reunions have made me realize that even though we now have our own family, different friends and other interests.....our high school years will be a part of us forever. Many things have changed through the years but one thing will remain: 

WE WILL ALWAYS BE THE CLASS OF 1955.
