The last time I posted, I had all but given the AL pennant to the Red Sox. What on earth happened Jerry. I would not want to be in Bean town right now, with the collaspe of the Red Sox and Bills sticking it to Brady and the Pats.
I hope the Yanks got enough to get through the AL playoffs, but I think this is the year of the Phillies.
Yes Jim, the lockout is over. Bills 3-0, on the cover of Sports Illustrated, Ryan (screams like a girl) Fitzpatrick NFL player of the month. If this is only a dream, don't wake me up.
O.K. The Bills are back to reality, Red Sox took the gas pipe, Paul K's Pirates collapsed, my Cubs went 71-91. What in the world is wrong with the RHS football team? I mean, other than the fact that they're playing "Burbs" schools, They're not just getting beaten. THEY'RE GETTING CRUSHED!!! Good grief. Does anyone out there see a "City School" playing at the Ralph anytime soon? I know McKinley is in the top ten of large schools, but they won't go to the Ralph either unless they buy a ticket. The Burb schools will always be better than the city schools in football. Then again, why do I care?
At least the weather hasn't been nice. My tomatoes are dying.Don't think they'll make it to Christmas. Looking forward to the cold and lots of snow this year.
Well, well, well. Yankees lose! TThhheeee............Yankees lose!!! How 'bout that A-Rod? Making it a habit of striking out for the last out of the game. And to think the Bronx Bummers were worried about their pitching. Where was the OFFENCE?!? They pay these clowns all that money......to lose to the Tigers? Actualy, the real clowns must be the owners, for paying these guys this much, only to LOSE. Oh the humanity! Sorry Barb.
Everyone must be really busy these days as this site seems to be terribly quiet. My question is this for Ann Marie: you sent out a general message that this will expire soon so I'm asking what needs to be done for it to continue operating if that's what the consenus prefers. Or may be they don't want it - could you let us know please?
Candi, I will be glad to keep the website up and running, but wonder if people really care if it stays. I am running out of new material, and it is getting harder and harder to find new classmates so there really is no new content. Although, I have managed to find these classmates on Facebook (with pictures!), but am having no luck getting them to join, if anyone else wants to take a shot at them. Maybe someone else had a relationship with them in high school and would have better luck.
Here is what Jeff Foxworthy would have to say about Buffalo... If your local Dairy Queen is closed from September through May, you may live in Buffalo. If someone in a Home Depot store offers their assistance, and they don't even work there, you may live in Buffalo. If you have had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed the wrong number, you may live in Buffalo. If you have worn shorts ......and a jacket at the same time, you may live in Buffalo. If "vacation" means going anywhere south of Angola for the weekend, you may live in Buffalo. If you measure distance in hours, you may live in Buffalo. If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you may live in Buffalo. If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C' in the same day and back again, you may live in Buffalo. If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you may live in Buffalo. If you install security lights on your house and garage but leave both doors unlocked, you might live in Buffalo. If you carry jumper cables in your car and your wife knows how to use them, you may live in Buffalo. If you design your kids Halloween costume to fit over a snow suit, you may live in Buffalo. If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph- you're going 80 and everybody is passing you, you may live in Buffalo. If driving is better in the winter because the pot holes are filled with snow, you may live in Buffalo. If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction, you may live in Buffalo. If you have more miles on your snow blower than your car, you may live in Buffalo. If you find 10 degrees "a little chilly" you may live in Buffalo. If you actually understand these jokes, you definitely do live - or have lived- in BUFFALO
For the past 29 years, I've been saying that I would rather drive in a raging blizzard than in one of our infamous thuunderstorms here! People know how to drive in snow there, but apparently driving in rain isn't taught in driver's ed. here. As for everuthing else, I'm not admitting to getting any of it!
Just wanted to wish all of you a very happy and healthy Holiday Season! Enjoy all the blessings this life has given you. Enjoy your family and friends. Always remember how to show your love and compassion, this time of year and always.
Hi all, I'm Dennie Cunningham from the class of 64 signing in. Only wish our class had such a GREAT website. I really enjoyed the photos taken of OUR Riverside High School new construction. What an amazing school. Hope the new student body will appreciate it as much as we would have, if it were in our time. A big KUDO goes out to the adminstration of this site.

Yes, an email came to let me know I had not updated my profile in over 6 months. Needless to say, the only new thing in our part of New York State is very little snow this year! It's been great driving weather for us too.
