You would think with it being winter, we would have more participation. Guess we have run out of things to say to each other.
The reunion committee will be meeting again next week and we will work out a price for the tickets. Details will follow.

Team USA, you're still the best! And Ryan Miller, you are by far the best goalie in the NHL!
I'm dying to hear what Lindy Ruff was saying to you???
I'm glad he made you smile:)

What I thought was pretty cool at the award ceremony, was the largely Canadian crowd was chanting Ryan Miller's name. Canadians do know good hockey when they see it and they knew Miller was the best.

Mark, did you hear the response he got from the Penguins fans last night? Better than they gave Sid the Kid.

And I heard that Sid the Kid was none too happy with it, either. I guess they played the replay before the game and there were some scattered boos. Later in the game they played it again and there were MORE boos! Up tight and outta sight.

It (the Olympics) was a great hockey game and ALMOST made me a hockey fan all over again. Too bad we lost, but, come on, what a drag the games would have become if Canada lost. Besides, it's hard to really dislike Canada, isn't it? I mean, it's like not liking your brother (hmmm... on second thought...)
PLEASE tell me that weather will be decent this weekend as I drive to Bflo!! May the Gods be with my car.

Leaving for Florida tomorrow. We had a death in the family, sadly my older sister Debbie (class of 70) passed away unexpectedly Friday Feb. 26. She had been a resident of Florida for some 30 plus years. Some of you may have known her.
Bob, I'll talk to you. What Moody Blues concert???????

Boyd, I am so sorry for your loss. Hope you have a safe trip.
Jerry,
We are supposed to have good weather this weekend - high 30's and there is hardly any snow on the ground.

Just returned home from the Swamp. A little cool but at least the gators weren't hungry. I posted some pics. Didn't recognize anyone at the concert. Thanks for the info Candi, the Canoe was fun and a little scary at the same time.

AnneMarie,
Hardly any snow on the ground? Bring Jerry out here to Depew. I've STILL got about a foot and a half on my lawn.

Met up with Jerry, Jim Miner & Bob & Penny Muscarella at the Anchor Bar and to see Buffalo Quickies last night. Next on tap, March 19th at Vizzi's on Kenmore Avenue to hear the band that is on top for the class reunion. 10pm - if you can stay up that late. I may have to take a nap beforehand.

AnnMarie, thanks for coming to the play. It was great to see you and Bob and your significant others (the word "spouse" sounds weird to me... they are really great folks!) It was great hanging out, eating large buckets of chicken wings and beef on weck and seeing a very good version of the play.
Miner and I went to a GREAT bar named Ulrich's after th show (ever been?) it's like Bflo's oldest bar and it's incredible. No music to yell over, just great people and unbelieveable conversations lasting till 2 AM!
I always have so much fun when I get back to my hometown.
See you guys in da summer at some point.

What time is everyone going to be at Vizzi's on Friday? I am planning on being there. I work with the lead singer, Dennis Schooley and his daughter Tiffany Schooley also sings with them. I heard them back in January for the first time and I think everyone will enjoy them. They play our kind of music. Dennis is a little older than we are and he and his band have been around for a lot of years. When the band has a break I can introduce everyone to them. They will be playing until around 2:00. I know I'll never make it til that time since that is way past my bed time. Just starting out at 10:00 is even past my bedtime.

2 am? I haven't seen that in years unless I'm getting up to go the bathroom! I am hoping to be there around 10, thinking of maybe eating there first so I don't have to go out so late.

For anyone that is going tonight to Vizzi's, When talking to Dennis today at work he wanted to remind me that at Vizzi's the band mostly plays blues and R&B. But they also do oldies which is what I heard them play in January.
