I went to grammer school with Tommy. I remember him as smart, funny and unique, for the time. He stood in a class of his own... It was so sad to hear of his passing. It would have been wonderfully interesting to hear about his perspective on current happenings. I'm hoping that he looks down on us from a wonderful place and takes joy in our reunion.

Tom was a great guy and will be missed by all his classmates. He had a great sense of humor and wrote in my yearbook "To my clammy handed dancing partner ..." Junior Day was great fun.

Tom was one of my best friends. We could talk for hours about nothing in particular, go home, pick up the phone, and talk some more. We doubled dated to the Senior Prom and spent the night neglecting our dates and talking to each other. He had a good heart and was a true confidant.

On the last day of school, we swapped baby pictures, Prom pictures, and combination locks. I still have his, 2R-24L-30R.

I dearly hoped to talk to him again through this website.

I was very sorry to hear about Tom's passing. Tom was a good friend throughout highschool. He was smart, had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed life. It's unfortunate that we lost touch over the years but reading about his family I see that Tom, as he always wanted, had a great life.

Hi, my name is Taylor.
i was his daughter,
im 13;
within those 13 years,

ive learned how complex and unique that man really was.
i still cant beileve he's gone.
my dad was not like any other.
i know that more than most.
he had the BEST sense of humor.
he taught me all the jokes i know today.
i loved him with all my heart,
words just cant explain.
he always used to say,
"when i die, send me down some ice water."
:)
now days,
everytime i hear his name,
i get get a little teary-eyed.
sad to say,
i had to hear of his death over the phone.
he was the insperation for my future career.
[Chef]
he always inspired me each and every day.
he was the one who made me laugh,
when i felt like breaking down.
everytime i was sick,
HE was the one who took care of me,
Even though he was ALS0 in soo much pain.
no one could ever take his place.
i just REALLY regret all the father/daughter dances we never went to.
and all the plans we had for this summer.
and the fact that we'll never get to do them,
REALLY REALLY hurts.
there is a whole lot more to say about him.
but this is all for now.

Dear Taylor,
Your loving note has touched my heart. It was beautiful! Your Father was a wonderful man that I knew from Kindergarden-4th grade and then again from Freshmen-Senior year.It is hard to believe God has taken such a young man! But from the sounds of it he has left a wonderful family to carry his name and memories on. Know that his wit and kindness will always be remembered. My deepest sympathy to your family. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this tough time.
Sincerely,
Irene Kanutsu

P.S. I found a 4the grade picture with your Dad in it and a Story your Dad wrote in 4th grade from school 64. AnnMare will E-mail them to you.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. It is always such a shock to hear of a friend passing at such a young age.
Tom was in all my classes at school #21. He was always a funny guy, making everyone laugh. I have posted a picture from our graduating class in 1968 on my profile. Please take a look at how cute he was.
My deepest sympathies to his family.
