I didn't know that Will had passed away until I came upon a memorial to him up on top of Huddart Park along the trails. There is a bench engraved in his honor there. Does anyone know what happened?
Will was a truly unqiue individual and a good friend to a lot of people. I was fortunate to spend a lot of time with him thoughout high school and beyond. He was a good photographer and journalist, and he was always ready to find a good party. In 1993 he was killed in a head-on motorcycle accident on the Angeles Crest highway while working on assignment for Sport Bike magazine.
As Tanya noted, he has a memorial bench in Huddart Park, next to Skyline Blvd across the street from the southern parking lot (PC03) for Purisima Creek (see www.openspace.org for a map). If you were friends with Will, I highly encourage you to visit him there.
