In Memory

Wade Little

Classmates,

Wade passed away suddenly on December 23, 2015, in Charlotte, NC. Please keep Sarabeth and his family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Here's the obituary from the Burlington Times-News:

Born in Burlington, NC, on October 1, 1961, to Kenneth Little and the late Kay Boone Little, he graduated from Williams High School in 1979, received an Associates Degree from Lees McRae Collage in 1982, and attended Appalachian State University.

He enjoyed a 20-year professional sales career and most recently worked for TruGreen in Charlotte. When he wasn't working, Wade made the most of his free time. An avid recreational fisherman - you could find him at the ocean, a country pond, or a mountain stream - anywhere the fish were biting. He was proud of his backyard garden and his extensive coin collection, and loved to discuss politics, books, and movies over family dinner.
Wade's friends and family will forever remember his great sense of humor and wit and how he loved to tell stories about the people and places he visited. He was very honored to have served several months as part of a Salvation Army Relief Mission, helping the City of New Orleans recover from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Wade is survived by his father, Kenneth Wade Little Sr. and his stepmother, Helen K. Little, of Burlington; his sister Teri Lewis, her husband Walter, nephews Jack and Charlie, and niece Grace Lewis of Cary, NC; and his loving companion, Sarabeth Edwards of Gastonia, NC. Also surviving are uncles: Timothy Little (Diana), David Little, and Frank Gordon; and aunts: Janice Jennings (Donald), Judi Helsing (Edward), and Sue Little.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington on Tuesday December 29 from 7:00 until 8:30 pm. The funeral will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel on Wednesday, December 30 at 1:00 pm, Reverend Mark Pickett presiding, followed by burial at Alamance Memorial Park.
