ISABEL VILLANUEVA-VIVANCO (1969 - 2016)

Obituary

On Monday, January 25, 2016, Isabel was welcomed by our Lord and Holy Mother. Her last weeks were spent at home surrounded by family and friends.

Isabel was in born in Mexico City, arrived in the United States with her parents and family in 1970. She was raised and lived in Burlington, WA her entire life. Isabel graduated from Burlington-Edison High School in 1989. She helped begin the Vivanco family tradition of giving back to her community and was a long-time employee of the Burlington-Edison School District.

Isabel was known for her kind heart, swift wit and her gift of embracing everyone. Her smile lit up any room she was in. She will always be remembered for her courage, strength, and optimism. The glass was always half-full. Isabel's joy came from spending time with family. She was a dedicated mother and wife, a sister to be counted on, and a daughter who was always there for her mom and dad.

Isabel will be greatly missed by her husband, Alfonso Villanueva, her four beautiful Children; Joel, 23, Stephanie (Yeya) 22, Jose (Pompers) 17, and Andres 10, her parents, Jose & Carmen Vivanco (Pa Jose & Mami Carmen), 8 brothers & sisters; Arturo (Judy) Vivanco, Maria Vivanco, Trino (Hilda) Vivanco, Ismael (Maty) Vivanco, Jose (Mari) Vivanco, Carmen (Matthew) Purcell, Martha (Jose Luis) Tapia, and Estevan Vivanco, 22 nieces and nephews, 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew and numerous relatives,

Viewing will be held at Hulbush Funeral Home, 281 S. Burlington Blvd, Burlington on Wednesday, January 27th 6:00pm-8:00pm. On Thursday, January 28th 7:00pm, a rosary will be held at St.Charles Catholic Church. A memorial service and mass will be held on Friday, January 29th, 11:30am at St. Charles Catholic Church, 935 Peterson Rd. Burlington.
