Survived By: Parents Mark and Judy Ganslaw, Brother Jed, Wife Lauren and Children

Lawrence "Larry" Ganslaw was a childhood friend of mine for many years. He was gentle, kind, smart and had a great sence of humor. I remember participating in puppet shows at Larry's house which he organized to raise money for various local and national charities. Although I lost touch with Larry after graduation, I would receive information about him from my Mother who remained close with his parents. Larry was a devoted husband and father and a successful attorney who passed away far to early. RIP old friend.

I am very disappointed to hear of Larry's death. We were good friends at Burtonsville elem. andBannaker Jr... we had different classes as a lot of us did when we entered high school and we grew up and went different ways.  His mother made me my first chocolate chip pancakes, and allowed me to share Hanukkah with their family for my first time.  In Jr. high we made the movie  "Mr. Bills First Day of School"  we lost out to Caleb Stranges "The Magic Tennis Shoes".  We had such a great time making that movie.  Larry, thank you for the moemories... you will be missed.

God please watch over his wife and offspring.  Give them strength to continue on and enjoy each other everyday. Amen.
