Kevin Dale Vasbinder, 56, of Queenstown, died September 23 at his home. Born on October 27, 1956 in Butler, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Allen and Jean Elsie Klein Vasbinder. Kevin graduated from Baptist Bible College, and from the University of Pittsburgh. After many years in the construction business with Winchester Homes, Mid-Atlantic Builders, and Timberlake Homes, Kevin began a career as an auditor with the Comptroller's Office Compliance Division. He also volunteered his time on the Queenstown Planning Commission. Kevin enjoyed time with his wife, Linda and their son, Morgan, often spending hours enjoying Morgan's baseball and football games. He enjoyed golf although not getting as much time on the course as he liked. Kevin was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan often displaying his Steelers banner on their balcony during football games. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Blasko. Kevin is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Linda Irene Vasbinder; a son, Morgan Charles Vasbinder; a brother, Charles "Buddy" Vasbinder and his wife, Dean, of Butler, PA; a sister, Donna Crouch, of Oregon; a niece, Cherith Witters; brother in-law, Patsy Blasko; nephew, Patrick Blasko. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home at 106 Shamrock Rd., Chester.
