Deceased in April, 1968 - automobile accident in South Africa. Lots of good memories and dreams took a long time to forget.

Such a waste!!!  That's what we were all saying about Tim (never "Francis") when we heard of his passing.

He came to Butler as a foreign exchange student from South Africa, although he himself was a Britsh subject and British through and through. He lived with my family for our senior years at BHS.

He knew rugby, had no knowledge of football, but picked it up very quickly and made varsity.

He already had a clear idea that he eventually wanted to become a marine biologist.

After returning to South Africa, he was killed in an automobile accident.  I have no doubt that had he lived, the world would be a different place today, he was that unusual, that formidable a personality.

Tim was an extraordinary person.  Always freindly to everyone, never afraid to express himself, a great athelete and a great friend.  He always called me "Bull" and I never knew how to take it
