OBITUARY

Daniel Podobensky, 74, of Butler passed away at home on Monday, August 17, 2020. He was born in Butler on June 2, 1946 to the late Harry and Ann (Zanicky) Podobensky. Daniel was a self-employed contractor and plumber. He enjoyed kids, dogs, his motorcycles and loved his family and gatherings. Daniel is survived by 4 siblings. It is always sad to hear of the passing of another classmate.

I remember Danny from first grade at old Homeacre School because he was the first kid in our classroom to be paddled by Miss Baird, our first-grade teacher.  I remember it was within the first few days of the new school year, durimg a class restroom break, that Danny went into a stall in the boys' room, removed a roll of toilet paper from the holder and threw the whole roll into the commode.

Early indications of one's life direction, perhaps.
