Alma "AJ" Christie, 67, of Butler passed away peacefully at 1:50 a.m. Sunday at VNA Hospice with her daughter, son and daughter-in-law by her side.
She was the daughter of Willard and Margaretta Wilson and was born on May 5, 1946, in Latrobe, Pa.
She was one of seven brothers and sisters; Robert Wilson, Melanie Piper (Tom), Milly Bortmas (Robert), Loretta Erdos (James), John Wilson (Debi) and Betty Savannah (George).
She is survived by her children, Don Stivison (Lauren), Amy Stivison (Bob) and Mark Christie (Amy); her seven grandsons, Dustin Christie, Daniel Hixon (Jocelyn), Don Stivison Jr. (Kara), Mike Stivison, Ryan Christie, Alex Christie and Garrett Regalski; and her three great-granddaughters, Gabrielle Hixon, Evangeline Hixon and Isabella Stivison.
She loved and was very proud of all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life.
She loved to cook for everyone, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, enjoyed her flower garden and watching all of God's creatures.
She was an avid Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 28 years, Charles Christie, and her beloved dog, Bandit.
CHRISTIE - There will be no visitation or funeral for Alma "AJ" Christie, who passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. A celebration of life party will be later.
The arrangements are by the Young Funeral Home, Butler
Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
