CADILLAC — Sarah Marie Jones, age 31, passed away surrounded by her family on November 16, 2012.
Sarah was born on January 24, 1981 to Rocky and Debbie (Munson) Jones. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a student at Baker College and had earned her Associates degree in small business management. Sarah had been spending time working towards her Bachelor’s degree when her life was cut short. She is a past member of the American Legion Jr. and Women’s American Legion Auxiliary. Sarah was a lifelong member of the Cadillac community. She enjoyed scrapbooking, camping, motorcycles and music but first and foremost to Sarah was always her family. She will be deeply missed.
Sarah is survived by her parents Rocky and Debbie Jones of Cadillac; her very special friend and companion Dan Lyons of Cadillac; her grandparents Betty Munson of Cadillac, and Alice Jones of Manton; nine uncles, four aunts and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather’s Hershel Munson and Theodore Ronald Jones Sr., uncle Alfred Munson and great-grandmother Berneta Jones.
Services for Sarah will be held on Tuesday November 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral home 620 N. Mitchell St. Cadillac MI. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bob Lyons. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider the family to help offset funeral expenses.
