In a nutshell, please describe your life since high school.
After graduating from Mechanical Engineering from U of C there was nobody hiring. At least nobody was hiring me.
So I decided while I was waiting for the next hiring boom I would go play aviator as a navigator in the U S Air Force.
Well , as way leads onto way, I found myslef on the road less traveled. Or more specifically as a Navigator on a C-130 in the middle of air combat over the skies of southern Iraq in the first Gulf War.
Five years later I was training as a pilot on supersonic jets . I would later go back as a pilot on the C-130. By 1999 I was out of the Air Force and starting an airline career with TWA in St. Louis.
I am currently at my fifth airline flying the B747-400 and living in Hong Kong.
My girlfriend Margo lives in Kiev and my week on week off lifestlyle lets me see her quite a bit.
