In a nutshell, please describe your life since high school.

Graduated from UofC with Civil Engineering, later attended Memorial University of Newfoundland to get a Bachelors in Naval Architecture/Ocean Engineering and have been living in Houston Texas since 1998.
Who was your favourite teacher and why?

John Colless, the Drafting teacher. I had the best time in his classes and kept in touch with him for many years after graduation. Several of us even bought him a 6 pack of Fosters Lager as a gift when we graduated.

Who was your least favourite teacher and why?

I would have to say Mrs. Simpson the math teacher! I found her teaching method very boring and I almost fell asleep in her class several times. When I was transfered out of her class midway through the year, my average went up about 20%

What is most memorable for you about the After Grad Party on Saturday night?

My mom letting me buy a 6 pack of beer to take with me even though I wasn't 18 yet.

How many times did you succeed in skipping despite the tight attendance policy?

I managed it a few times, including taking an afternoon off to see a movie premier. I even told my favourite teacher about that one!

What was your favourite 80's song?

It seemed to change every week.

If there was a 30th reunion (gasp) in 2013, would you attend?

Life definitely has a few twists and turns in it! I got laid off from my job back in August 2017 and have now started working as a freelance consultant in the offshore oil and gas industry. It's been challenging at times but I definitely enjoy being able to spend time at home with my family. At the moment I'm on a contract working in the client's office in Shenzhen China. I was over here last year for three and a half months on the preliminary phase of this job and am now back working on the installation procedures for an FPSO mooring system to be installed just offshore the mouth of the Pearl River. In the pic, the hills shown in the background are actually in Hong Kong.
