Met my wonderful husband, Stew, at Hartwick College and married in 1986. Lived in the Boston area for many years, and spent 13 of those in Winchester, where we had two daughters, Heather and Emily. Wanting more space and some land, moved back to Maine in 2000 (North Yarmouth).
In order to have time flexibility when the girls were young, I started my own graphic design business, which is quite successful. Love working at home and being able to take off for a bike ride or a ski midday...I could never go back to working in an office! Stew left the corporate world as well, and is a professional musician (lead guitarist for the Bob Charest Band) as well as teaching guitar in students' homes.
I've remained close with Jenny and Nancy through the years—our 6 kids grew up together and are all friends as well, which is such a delight.
In my spare time, I'm an avid gardener, gourmet cook and foodie; love XC skiing, biking, rollerblading, hiking—basically anything that will give me the chance to be outside.
