Jeff was and always will be the cheerful smiling kind person that he was in highschool. I am so glad I saw him at the reunions, and wish I had spent more time with him at the last one. When My family was going through so much difficulty with my Mom's cancer before she passed away, Jeff and his mom would ask me if I needed help. Such a thoughtful person. I am so very sad that he has passed. this truly breaks my heart. Love you Jeff.
Trite, maybe, but since hearing of Jeff's untimely death, the chorus of Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young" keeps running through my brain. Unfortunately, the saying proves all too true.
I can think of few other Billy Joel songs that might describe Jeff:
-You May Be Right (I may be crazy)
-Angry Young Man
-And So it Goes
-Just the Way You Are
-My Life
-Pressure
-The Entertainer
-You're Only Human
Wasn't that hard to put this list together on the eight hour round trip to his memorial service and stuck in the hospital for four days (just can't shake those crabs), I happened to watch "Billy Joel at Shea Stadium" on Saturday night.

C'mon, you left too early again. I'll miss you my good friend. I'm hoping that you'll find some true happiness this time around.
