DENISE (Walker) Mincer CANANDAIGUA - Denise (Walker) Mincer, age 55, passed away at Light Hill on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, while surrounded by her family, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Gary Mincer; two sons, Eric (Brooke) Warren and Austin Mincer; two grandchildren, Addison and Braydon; six siblings, Terry (Mark) Watkins, Cynthia (Paul) Baxter, Samuel Walker, David (Teresa) Walker, Ronald (Sherri) Walker and Shari DeVito; and many nieces and nephews. Denise was born in Canandaigua and was the daughter of Samuel and Virginia (DiCrasto) Walker. She attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 1979. Denise worked at the VA Medical Center for 32 years. She enjoyed bowling, running, aerobics and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Friends may call on Saturday, January 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her memorial service will immediately follow visitation at the funeral home.
