Alma Mater
The Canandaigua Academy Alma Mater is lost to memory.
The 1961 Academian printed the lyrics on its back page,
but no one at the current Academy seems to know the melody:
Sing the lay of Canandaigua
Join in the praise,
For to us it is the best song
Which we can raise.
We will ever loyal be;
Praise the Flag that soon will be
Floating in the air
Above to victory.
The chorus will ring
As to thee now we sing
And shout out our praises today.
We'll add to the fame of
Canandaigua's name
As we march along a merry song
We'll sing for Aye.
