It was sad to see Richie in Austinwoos Rehab. Health Care - I was working there on the floor when he was there before he died. I was about 23 years old then I think.
At least he looked like he was at peace before he went.

Richie Beshara was a very special person. I looked up to him, because he had no fear and wanted to excel at whatever he did. He challenged me to be more competitive as a wrestler and as a football player. He was always quick with a joke and everybody's friend.

I miss his confidence and his sense of humor. I'm sure that wherever he is, he's making people laugh and feel good.

I spent most of middle school seated between Melissa Antalocy and Richie Beshara. What fun! She's as sweet as can be and Richie was so much fun. He and I spent many classes talking about football, rather than paying attention to the teacher. He is missed.

Richie nominated me, the quiestest and most shy person in Mr. Rammuno's 6th grade class, for student council - and I won! At the time, I was so scared to speak in front of the class, but I'm so very grateful for the opportunity I was given and I will always remember Richie for being generous, caring and supportive. You are missed, my friend!

Richie was probably the most popular guy in the school...because (in my opinion), he was ADORABLE, funny, sweet, bold, honestly nice and seemed to be friends with EVERYBODY!! I also had a little crush on Richie, but I think most people did...man-crushes included!! (I mean that guys gravitated toward him and girls just loved him). His passing was definitely a waste! I hope his family is doing well.

I have missed Richie very much. He was my best friend. I have had the pleasure of staying close with his family. I see his nieces and nephews all the time. They have been a connection for me. Richie helped me become the person I am today. Bob Duda

Oh my,
Well, as you may or may not remember I was part of Richie's clan. He always had a smile. We did some insane and amazing things as friends and through that I truly believe that we had a love and admiration for each other. Also because we had mopeds. Awesome...
Now you are home bubba...

Freshman year, Chris Isaly's house, we played a classic football game that had Isaly, Constantini, Marzano, Duda, Jacobs, Elias, Cleary and some others I am forgetting, but it was a heated contest, a lot of smack talking going on. Late in the game and at a critical point, Richie hit me so hard I not only fumbled but it was the 1st time I'd been "knocked out" on my feet, and it was totally clean. He was a hitter, a leader and someone that although we didn't necessarily agree on a lot of things, you had to respect him as a person and he was always there if you needed something. When I see his cousins on visits home it's impossible not to see Richie when you see them smile, as he was a huge influence in their lives.

Richie,
How I envy you as a person and miss you as a friend. Your incredible quick responses and never to forget smile will be cherished within my heart until we meet again. I remember Richie coming to play Little Cardinals football, his dad walking him through the tunnel at the middle school and seeing his little smirk and those braces. Wow, how time flies by and how our God chooses when he wants us home. Rest in Peace and keep us all in view from above. God Love You.
