Well, it's been a crazy ride over the past 20 years. I went to New York very soon after graduation and studied acting there for a few months. I came back to Carrollton and went to West Georgia for a few years and worked as a teller at CB&T. Around 1990, I was offered a job with a stock brokerage in Atlanta, so I studied hard and got my brokers license. I moved to Vinings, had a great apartment, adopted the worlds sweetest cat (Norman) and played a lot of golf. I burned out of the 90 hour work week and moved home to work with my Dad at his construction company. I learned so much during my time there! I also started my own side business designing floorplans and computer consulting for small companies around town. Dad remarried and moved to Arizona, so I worked for a rescue company for a while, then Patrick Malloy Construction for a bit before I was hired on with Carroll County Fire Rescue. I was a firefighter there for a total of 5 years. During that time I met my husband (now ex), Scott, who was also a volunteer with the fire department. I was stationed in Temple and at Centerpointe stations and on my days off I did touring theatre in Atlanta. One day, I got a call from my old talent manager from New York... he said he had branched out and had a new office in LA and he thought I should come out and work with him again. So... here I am. I have an office job (to pay the bills) and audition for plays and films and shows whenever possible. So, I'm pretty much just like 200,000 other people in LA. :-)
