Michael Robert Hutchinson passed away suddenly Sunday, August 12th, 2007 at his home in Caro. He was born December 16th, 1967 in Cass City, the son of Robert & Susan (VanVliet) Hutchinson. For the last several years, Michael had been employed at Plastech Engineered Products in Caro. Michael attended Colwood United Brethren Church in Caro and its Bible study group. Michael enjoyed watching NASCAR races, Michigan sports and collecting Ducks Unlimited prints.

Michael is survived by his parents, Robert Hutchinson of Cass City, Susan (Douglas) Herringshaw of Caro; his paternal grandparents, Orval & Ada Hutchinson of Cass City; two step-brothers, one step-sister and their spouses, Chris & Samantha Herringshaw of Naperville, IL, Heather & Larry Baker of Kawkawlin, Tobin Herringshaw of Silver Springs, MD; three aunts, two uncles and their spouses, Ann Erlenbeck of California, Gary & Jeanine Hutchinson of Saginaw, Kathy & Dallas Nichols of Snover, Christine Little of Cass City, Richard & MaryJane VanVliet of Cass City and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Stanley & Wanda VanVliet of Decker, his aunt, Audry Gottchalk of Bad Axe and uncle, Clifford VanVliet of Circleville, OH.

Mike was not only my cousin, he was my friend. There is nothing he wouldn't do for you, he was a very kind-hearted person.
