James "Jim" Kevin Elliott

James Kevin "Jim" Elliott, 36, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield. He was born Nov. 17, 1964, in Monett, the son of Larry Dean and Kay Turner Elliott. He was united in marriage to Karen Swaffar and to this union one daughter was born, Brooke Nicole Elliott, who survives. Additional survivors include: his mother, Kay Elliott of Cassville; one brother, Shawn Elliott of Cassville; one sister, Regina Robbins of Exeter; his grandfather, Tom Turner of Cassville; one step-son, Jarod Swaffar of Purdy. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dean Elliott, grandparents, Lucille Turner and Mary and Eldon Elliott. Jim received his education in Cassville Schools and was a 1983 graduate of Cassville High School. He then became a painter with Alvey's remaining there until they closed in the early 1990's. From that time on, he was self-employed and was currently owner and operator of Cape Fair Bait and Tackle in Cape Fair. He was a member of the soft ball league in Monett. He was a member of the Mill Street Church of Christ, Cassville. Funeral services were today Wednesday, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Ben Loudermilk conducted the services. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
