Some of you have posted beautiful pictures. It's nice to be reading at your message(s) and seeing your photo at the same time. You can post multiple pictures and select one to be master photo. The master pic is what we can view when we read your messages. Thank you.

Again, please don't forget to read the "Discussion Board" section. The "Discussion Board" tab is next to the "Classmate Profiles." If you wish your contribution or recommendation be seen by all of us, this is the recommended tab. However, if you want to just send a private message to an individual, you have that option too.

It is at your discretion to have your whole profile be seen publicly. This includes all information that you posted in this site. I personally wouldn't do it because our profile contains common identifiers such as birthdate, maiden name, address, kids names, etc.

If you also notice, I don't post so much of the pictures of my family. I can't even invite my own daughter to my facebook account because she blocks anybody from inviting her. She told me, "Mom we already know each other and talk to each other, I don't see the point". My daughter has to know the person who is going to invite her and invite that particular person herself. Kids who are growing up during technological era have different views of how much information to divulge to the public or over the net. Remember, the young generation has different views, perception and experiences when it comes to technology. If you notice, some kids use technology to "bully" other kids and can really hurt them personally, emotionally, and in the future financially once they start earning money.

Remember information can easily be stolen and be used in illegal activities. Once your " network of friends" expand and your name is exposed to others, your information is vulnerable for illegal use. We don't know if our "extended friends" forget to turn off their computers or innocently share your information with others because they are very trusting and excited. We are nurses, we are honest and very trusting. However, we still need to be careful.
