Class Reunion Preparation
Posted Sunday, October 11, 2009 11:46 PM

We have been discussing our upcoming reunion for the past few months. To recap, I would like to resend the email communication that I sent back in March 18, 2009 to afford everyone an opportunity to read what had been discussed in the past. Please follow the links that I suggested (that you need to read) in order to keep you in the loop of what needs to be done in order to have a memorable and successful class reunion.

In an effort to have a memorable and exciting reunion, I'd like to invite
everyone to visit the website Reunion Class 101. Please let me know which role
you would like to assume within your capacity considering the distance, monetary
freedom and restriction, and other personal assets.

Please email to me what function you would like to take on. I'll start.

Nerie's Role and Responsibilities

1. Will be responsible for the website creation. For me to do this, I need you
to email me your pictures, preferably 2-4 poses. It is at your discretion how
much you'd like to share during the class reunion advertisement. I will also be
responsible for updating the website with current information on the status
of the venue, program, progress of other committee members, etc.

2. Will be responsible for video production, to be presented the night of our
reunion. I'd like to request everyone to email me the following:

(a) Brief summary of your life's event for the past 20 years or so -minimum of 3
paragraphs. You can share as much as you can - trials and triumphs. The
background music when presenting your individual story is your choice, if not, I
will select the music of the 80's. I need you to send me your favorite songs.

Part of the program is that each individual will have a minimum of 5 minutes to
enjoy the spotlight. You will share with us whatever it is that you'd like.
Then, entertain questions if necessary. Shyness is highly discouraged.

The venue should be central to everyone. I need your suggestions. Be mindful
that not everyone has an opportunity to earn other currencies other than pesos.

Suggested venue: Marriott next to Ayala Mall. Any other ideas? If everyone
agrees on this location, the treasurer is responsible for the conference
reservation. The conference should include the technology that affords us to
view the video, powerpoint slides (laptop and projector), microphones.

My suggestion is to have a three day event. The first day is for BSN 1987
graduates only depending on turn out(guest optional). The second day is preferably in another location other than the
hotel type atmosphere. May be at the beach? somebody's house that can
accommodate us, a place less than 2 hour commute from Cebu City? You can then
bring your loved ones and friends. Needs head count though for food prep.

Please keep the suggestions coming and forward this info to our classmates.

Tentative reunion date: July 1 - 3, 2011.
