It has been 40 years. Some of you have never been to the reunions. We have a lot of fun and it is a time to talk about the past the present and the future. Please make the effort to come. We want to visit with you.

Charlotte and her committee is getting together a great reunion with fun, bowling, eating great hamburgers and fries, door prizes and lots of visiting with old friends. We will have Alan Grimshaw's band entertain us. It is going to be so fun so plan to be there. We haven't seen some of you since high school so please com!!!

We will not be there because neither one of us bowl and we don't think that is what a reunion is about. There should be dinner and a program at a nice place such as the college cabin or somewhere nice. It is just too much money to spend on gas when you have to come 200 hundred miles to bowl!

Thank you, friends, for organizing the class reunion!
You are all working hard to make sure we get together. It is most important as the years go by!

Why am I making the trip? Because each of you mean a lot to me. Am I attending because I bowl? NO! Am I attending because the food will be outstanding? I don't care what I am going to eat.

If all I want to do is bowl and eat a delicious meal, then I can stay home.

Would I make the effort to attend if the reunion was in the middle of a corn field and we ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? YES!

Why! Again I reinterate it is because it is our 40th class reunion and I want to see each of you. What a milestone! Though it is difficult to say it has been 40 years since we graduated. That makes me and you sound so old. Which of course, we are not!

Smile everyone! See you in a few weeks.

After reading your responses I feel that some of you may have misunderstood why we decided to have the reunion at the bowling alley. Our intentions are not to bowl at all - but you are welcome to if you would like. we felt the atmosphere there would allow everyone to mingle and not be confined to a table where you can only visit those at that table. We lso felt it would be nostalgic to have hamburgers and fries, like we used to do every day for lunch. Also Kathy (Roberts) and Randy (Jones) were willing to let us use the facility without charge. The committee feels it will be a really fun time for all. I hope that more of you will plan to attend. The date for receiving your reservation has past but I will still take them for as long as you send them in. Hope to see you there.

Charlotte & committee, Kathy & Randy, THANK YOU SO MUCH for being willing to get this reunion together. I've been waiting the last 40 years for this & am really looking forward to it.

Glenna said it best, it doesn't matter where it is or what we eat, it's the chance to see each other & do some catching up after all this time. It will be great to hear Alan's band also. It may be a lot of money, but we are all so worth it.

In 2003, I was so looking forward to coming as it had been ten years since I had been to a reunion. Unfortunately I didn't get invited as my address was unknown. That has now been taken care of. I REALLY WANT TO SEE ALL OF YOU AND HOPE YOU ALSO WANT TO SEE ME.

I very much appreciate in behalf of all of us the extra mile effort of Charlotte, committee members, Kathy & Randy in setting up this reunion. This is a great opportunity to get reacquainted with several classmates as well getting to know people better than we did in high school.

The bowling alley is also great in that it is a nice nostalgic memory of the old bowling alley, a favorite hang out, along with the fast food drive inns and dragging Main.

It’s also nice to have French fries, hamburgers, ketchup, and coke, which were our four main food groups back then. Allen Grimshaw's band is the icing on the cake with memories of fun dances and assemblies.

We are the class of 68
at the age of 58,
and that is great
because we need to think the age of 58
as the new age of 38.

I’m sorry, that was corny rap poetry. Looking forward to seeing you all. Steve
