Hi friends! This is my attempt to connect since I'm unable to attend the reunion. Hope everyone is doing great! Does any one else feel old? It's hard to believe it's been 20 years, yikes!
These days, I feel like I just run in circles trying to keep up with my family. Last school year, my baby started 1st grade which meant I had lots of time on my hands, which meant time to officially re-enter the work force. So I started working at the elementary school my kids attend, in the counseling/behavior/special needs department. It has been very interesting, and I have learned so much. The best part is, the schedule allows me to most importantly still be full-time mom when my kids are home. Awww, I know. I guess I'll just follow them through school like a creepy mom, and then decide what to do with the rest of my life, haha.
So Colby is working for Zions Bank in the treasury management department (bet not very many have heard of that before, eh?) but he really enjoys it and he sets the standard bank-wide. I'm so proud of him, he's awesome in everything he does. Our boys do the typical sports, music, scouting...that stuff. We are busy in our ward and are so happy to be surrounded by amazing people...we hope they will rub off on us someday. We are now die-hard Desert Hills High fans, sorry, it could be worse like Pine View or Dixie! But its fun to see fellow Cedar-ites at sporting events (Robbie Potter, way to get us on the last game coach...nice job!)
I'm not sure what hobbies/personal interests are anymore, but I do like to read and sleep when there is time :)
