 The classes of 69, 70, and 71 will be meeting at the school auditorium between 2:00 and 5:00 on July 24, mostly to connect with everyone who is home for the reunion.  ( I suppose we will need name tags to recognize each other.  There is a distinct possibility that we have aged a little)  We also will have a cash bar set up in the auditorium and this will be a cool place to sit down and visit, no planned program but you could bring photos or we could tour the school if desired.  The rink will sell a supper from its kitchen from 5:00 until 7:00( or until they run out of food).  At 8:00 a dance will be held in the skating rink with the band “Men Without Shame” (  oldies and newies, lots of fun).  Advance tickets can be purchased for the dance for **$20** per person before July 10 (this allows time for the tickets to be mailed to you).  Tickets at the door will be $5 more.  Tickets may be ordered through Cheryl Ofstie at Ofstie Insurance 796-2079 or Thelma Caldwell at McGregor's Travel 796-2000.  We will plan our Sunday afternoon on Saturday.  Hope to see you soon       Bonny

Hi George - Just wanted to let you know that CEDA has booked "Men Without Shame" for a caberet & Dance on Sat. July 24th in conjunction with Celebrate C.B. & the reunions.

Advance tickets are $20 per person & available until July 16th. After that tickets will be $25. Of course we would love to sell as many advanced tickets as possible. Please put this info out to your reunion contacts. People can get tickets by sending a cheque made out to CEDA  to the Town office Box 10, C.B. or McGregor Travel, or Ofstie Insurance.  This will be a great chance for all groups to get together in one venue, with a really  entertaining band.

The Central Butte school classes of 69, 70, and 71 are having a reunion on July 24, 25, 2010.  We would like you to join us for the weekend and to invite any fellow classmates as well.  We will meet on Sat.  July 24 at the rink in Central Butte at 2:00 and will continue with our plans for the weekend, including an evening meal that will not cost more than $10.00 a person.  The town has an ongoing celebration that weekend with beer gardens, chilli cook off, ball tournament and a dance.  Riverhurst  Lions Club has a pancake breakfast Sunday morning, 9:00 to 11:00 at Palliser.  There is good golfing at Elbow and Palliser Park.  We hope to join some of these activities and depending on the weather probably spend Sunday on the beach at Palliser Park.  For accommodations there is an older but clean hotel in Central Butte, an affordable motel at the Riverside Inn, and a great hotel at the Mainstay at Palliser.  There are 16 nonreserved electrical sites around the swimming pool in Central Butte, reserved camping at Palliser and Douglas Park and no services camping on various lots in town,  Mary Anne Theedes’ back yard and the Darryl Tucker farm.
