Jill passed away in the spring in the early ninties. My fondest memory of Jill is her infectous laugh. When she came to my house my dad would always say "Laugh for me, Jill". We would all be laughing in a matter of seconds. Jill was a kind, straight forward, no nonsense individual who made my life richer. We stayed in touch and visited regularly until her death. I miss her and her laugh.
Jill passed away in the early summer of 1994, just hours after her son graduated from high school. She battled with Hodgkins disease and then nonHodgkins Lymphoma for nearly a decade before she succumbed. She was my best friend since fifth grade at Kanawha Elementary School. We visited each other often. She was a school librarian- I guess those years of working from Mrs. Delcont at Roosevelt and Mrs. Kellogg at CHS inspired her. She was a bundle of fun, and as Karen Peters has already noted, had an absolutely infectious laugh. I introducted her to her future husband, Rick Miller (a Stonewall graduate) when she started attending church with me at Humphreys Methodist on the west side. I still miss her a lot.
