Danny was also an excellent tennis player--just a solid all-round athlete. I had a good talk with him at the 2013 reunion. He had clearly been through the mill with a very serious illness, but he was cheerful and happily married to a "GW girl," as he called her.
How I loved to watch Danny and his sister play tennis! He had the most gorgeous blue eyes ever! I am glad I had the opportunity to chat with him at the last reunion I had attended not knowing it would be the last time I would see him.
